Safety and Health:

The hiking trail winds through rocky and earthy paths amid lush tea gardens. Spanning approximately 3 kilometers, this route is suitable for all ages and offers a relaxed, enjoyable experience. For optimal comfort and to avoid injuries, we highly suggest you to wear proper sports shoes or hiking sandals.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

  • At the campground, nighttime temperatures drop to around 15-18°C (59-64°F). Please pack warm clothing to stay cozy. Gloves and socks are also recommended.
  • If you have any food allergies, let us know so we can prepare alternative meals options.

How do I get to the Campfire 2024 event location?

The event package you purchased includes round-trip travel expenses from the meeting point in Jakarta to the event location. You only need to go to the meeting point, which will be announced later. 

Can I go to the Campfire event location on my own?

You can go directly to the event location on your own, but the event campfire costs will not be covered.

Do I need to have previous hiking and camping experience?

You don’t need to have previous trekking and camping experience. Everything we provide is suitable for beginners.

How should I prepare for trekking?

You should start with walking in your local area.

Do I need to wear trekking shoes?

If you have trekking shoes, it will be better, but if not, you can use sports shoes/running shoes or non-slip hiking sandals to minimize the risk of injury while trekking.

Are trekking poles a good idea?

Yes, we certainly think so. They help with your balance on slippery slopes and going up and down the hills easier.

Will there be cell reception in the area?

Yes, there will be cell reception/mobile internet signals in most areas.

I am a vegetarian. Are there other menu options for the BBQ?

Yes, there are. Don’t worry, we will prepare other menu options for you. Please let us know in advance.
