Briston Clubmaster Iconic: The Beauty of “Côte de Genève”

Briston Clubmaster Iconic was born from the marriage of purity of lines and fine craftsmanship. It has a discrete and elegant style opened window on the mechanism. While they tried to stick to the Clubmaster’s cambered square shape, Briston has also revisited this classic and turn it into an elegant and timeless automatic watch.

The Clubmaster Iconic is also the first dress watch from Briston that used Automatic movement. The movement itself use Japanese made Automatic Movement, NH38A and mechanical with automatic winding with ball bearing (BI-directional). The Seiko movements itself are well known for toughness and reliability at this price range. Briston offers a timeless watch affordable with sapphire glass and transparent case-back which gives a view on the movement decorated with “Côte de Genève” rotor. For it's case, Briston Clubmaster Iconic is available with two options of case acetate and steel.

With its “cambered square” shape which comes straight from the Roaring Twenties and lends it a unique, yet classically horological look in a standardized round watch segment, this elegant and timeless watch is made with a 40 mm and a sapphiere glass on top. Briston Clubmaster Iconic is also designed to be a timeless classic, thus it is created with two types of automatic movement. One with an open dial called Open Heart Dial to see the open mechanism, and the one one with a more sober dial and the date at 6 o’clock called Closed Dial.

For the dial design, the dial features pointed gold tone hour and minute hands with white detail on the edges, that sit on top of a beautiful sunray British green base. The White numerals and hour markers are also sunk into the dial which gives it a good finishing as it is a style that not very much used in the industry. On the dial, you can also find the word ‘Briston’ at the top, and a small date display at 6 o’clock position with the words ‘Clubmater’ and the water resistance rate of 50m/330ft displayed. Altho it’s written as a water resistance, this watch can’t be used to dive or to be used while swimming, because the water resistance is only 50metres. The dial also has opening measuring at 31mm, and has two-part strap with easy pins system.

For the strap, Briston offers interchangeable straps from various types of material. There is NATO and vintage strap that you can mix and match with your Briston Iconic Dial.
