The name itself comes from the words black chrome—because the series consist of black on black colorway, that is constructed from ultra-rugged nylon shells with Cordura TPX Durable Laminate tech that has nylon reinforcement on a 22 degree bias to give maximum tear resistance with minimal weight. This innovative, highly technical nylon fabric is not only super light and absolutely tear-resistant, but also reliably water-repellent thanks to a Cordura TPX laminate.
